// FAQ
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q1.Where does the ADA price data come from?
All price data is fetched from CoinGecko's free public API. Prices auto-refresh every 60 seconds. No API key or account is required.
Q2.How accurate is the staking rewards calculator?
The calculator uses compound interest math based on Cardano's ~73 epochs per year and a configurable APY (typically 3–5%). Real rewards vary by stake pool performance, saturation, and network parameters. This is an estimate only — not financial advice.
Q3.What is a Cardano epoch?
An epoch is a 5-day period (432,000 slots) in the Cardano blockchain. Staking rewards are calculated and distributed at each epoch boundary. The epoch clock shows real-time progress computed from Cardano's genesis timestamp.
Q4.What is DexHunter?
DexHunter is a Cardano DEX aggregator that finds the best swap rates across multiple Cardano decentralized exchanges. The "Buy on DexHunter" links take you directly to the swap page for each token.
Q5.Why are some token prices showing N/A?
Some smaller Cardano ecosystem tokens may not be tracked on CoinGecko, or the API rate limit may have been hit. Try refreshing after a minute. The DexHunter buy links still work regardless.
Q6.Is any data stored or tracked?
No. All calculations run in your browser. Price fetches go directly from your browser to CoinGecko's API. Nothing is stored, tracked, or sent to our servers.
