ToolForge ("we", "our", or "us") operates tool-forge.xyz. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our platform.

The short version: we collect almost nothing. Every tool on ToolForge runs entirely in your browser. Your files, inputs, and results never leave your device.

We do not require you to create an account.

We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information.

We do not upload files you use with our tools to any server.

We do not store the results of any calculation, conversion, or generation you perform.

We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Like all websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) may log standard server access data: IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is retained for a short period for security and operational purposes and is governed by Vercel's privacy policy.

We use no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels, and no behavioral analytics.

ToolForge does not set first-party tracking or advertising cookies.

Some tools use browser sessionStorage or localStorage to temporarily preserve your work within a single session (e.g., a partially-built invoice). This data is stored only on your device and is cleared when you close or clear your browser. It is never transmitted to us.

AI Email Refiner: This tool sends the text you provide to the Groq API for language model processing. Do not include sensitive personal information in text you submit to this tool. Groq's privacy policy governs how that data is handled on their side.

IP Address Lookup: This tool queries a third-party geolocation API (ipapi.co) with your IP address to return location and ISP data. No data beyond the standard HTTP request is transmitted.

Cardano Dashboard: Live price and blockchain data is fetched from public APIs (CoinGecko, Blockfrost). No user data is transmitted.

ToolForge is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Because we collect minimal personal data, most GDPR and CCPA obligations do not apply to our day-to-day operations. However, you have the right to know what data we hold about you (we hold none beyond server logs), and you may contact us to request deletion of any server log data associated with your IP address.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of ToolForge after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
